As the chairman of the Arizona Family Project and former Communications Coordinator for the Citizens for Arizona Policy (CAP), Jeff Dial places a high importance on the sanctity of human life and the role strong families have in our children’s futures and in strengthening our communities. That is why he believes we must, as a society, do as much as we can to protect families, particularly from violent criminals and sexual predators.

Strengthening Families at Home

Children without fathers in their lives are 5 times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime, 9 times more likely to drop out of school, and 20 times more likely to end up in prison. More needs to be done to combat these troubling statistics. That is why Jeff Dial supports legislation and laws that strengthen families, remove marriage penalties, crack down on deadbeat dads avoiding child support payments and ensure more of the funds from child support go to families and not to state bureaucracies.

Protecting Children

Jeff Dial strongly supports laws that severely crack down on people who host child pornography sites or who otherwise engage in sexually explicit practices that prey upon children. While strong family supervision is the first line of defense in protecting our children from sexual predators, the government must also help defend our children from harm, particularly when it comes to the Internet. Children must be protected from sex offenders who attempt to hide behind the relative anonymity of the Internet to victimize children.
