Jeff Dial is a former Arizona State Senator and State Representative, an Army Reserve veteran, and a small-business owner. He is running for Clerk of the Superior Court because the office that keeps the records of our justice system should be run with competence, accountability, and integrity: following the law, not a personal agenda.
Public service. In the Legislature, Jeff served on committees covering education, public safety, commerce, and technology. He focused on protecting taxpayer dollars, streamlining government operations, and ensuring transparency and accountability in public institutions, and he scrutinized and voted on multi-billion-dollar state budgets, a core constitutional duty of the Legislature.
Business. Since leaving the Legislature nearly ten years ago, Jeff has worked in business, serving as an executive of a multi-generation family company and managing operations, budgets, payroll, contracts, and regulatory compliance. He knows what it means to be accountable for a payroll, a deadline, and a bottom line.
Service and family. Jeff served in the U.S. Army Reserve, earning an honorable discharge. He is a former American Red Cross disaster-relief volunteer and has served on several Arizona boards of directors. He holds a degree from Arizona State University. Jeff is a Christian. He and his wife are raising their young son in Maricopa County.
Why the Clerk's Office. The Clerk's Office handles money and paperwork, but Jeff knows it is ultimately about people. Most residents never hear about this office until they need it, and when they do, it should simply work. That is the office Jeff will run.
